IFDO, in partnership with UMR and George Mason University, organized a workshop titled “Joining the United Nations ECOSOC: Requirements, Benefits, and Experiences” on 12 July 2025 via Zoom. The workshop explained how organizations can engage with the UN system, the requirements for obtaining ECOSOC consultative status, and the institutional gains and real-world experiences of organizations in this pathway.
