A Platform to Strengthen Development Partnerships and Foster Effective Collaboration Between Development and Investment

In recognition of the importance of activating development partnerships and enhancing cooperation among stakeholders in development and investment fields, the International Forum for Development Organizations organized the Development Partners Forum – Jordan at Ayass Hotel in Amman, with the participation of more than 140 attendees representing local and international entities, development organizations, and the private sector.

The forum was organized in partnership with Alfanar Organization as part of the project “Innovation Supporting the Environment and Startups in Mediterranean Countries,” implemented by Alfanar in cooperation with SPARK Organization and funded by the European Union.

The forum was also supported by the “Seeds of Goodness – Growing Positive Impact” project team, led by Brunel University and the German Jordanian University represented by the Social Entrepreneurship Center, in addition to Forum partners including Action For Humanity and the Response Innovation Lab.

The forum aimed to build effective communication bridges between development and investment stakeholders and strengthen mechanisms that support economic and social stability through strategic partnerships that encourage innovation, support startups, and create sustainable economic opportunities in the region.

The forum witnessed high-level participation from local and international development organizations, business associations and unions, development experts, investors, and consultants from various sectors. Participants discussed ways to activate cooperation and integration between the development and investment sectors and to build partnership models that generate tangible and sustainable development impact.

This forum comes as part of the joint efforts of the International Forum for Development Organizations and Alfanar Organization to strengthen the collaborative environment between the development sector and the private sector, encourage the adoption of innovative solutions to address economic and social challenges, and support sustainable development pathways in Jordan and the wider region.
