Dialogue and Partnerships to Advance the Use of Technology in Humanitarian Development

The International Forum for Development Organizations participated in the “Artificial Intelligence in Humanitarian Work” Conference, organized by Revolve Incubator in Istanbul, with the participation of the Forum’s Secretary-General, Mr. Maamoun Al-Ashqar, alongside a group of experts and specialists in technology and humanitarian work.

The conference served as a dialogue platform that brought together artificial intelligence experts, representatives of humanitarian and development organizations, key partners, and several ambassadors of the International Forum for Development Organizations. The discussions focused on exploring ways to utilize modern technologies to support humanitarian response, improve the efficiency of development programs, and enhance their impact.

During the conference sessions, participants presented practical models for applying artificial intelligence in humanitarian work, including data analysis, needs assessment, and improving planning and implementation mechanisms. The discussions also addressed ethical and regulatory challenges related to the use of technology in humanitarian contexts.
