Giving with dignity… and lasting impact

As part of its networking and knowledge exchange programs among members, the International Forum for Development Organizations (IFDO) in Jordan organized an introductory visit to Al-Farouq Charity Association for Orphan Care in Irbid, one of its member organizations.

During the visit, the association presented an inspiring sustainability model based on productive projects that promote self-reliance and ensure the continuity of giving. The model follows an integrated institutional approach that combines humanitarian values with economic empowerment, within a holistic philosophy that preserves human dignity and creates sustainable developmental impact beyond short-term assistance.

Participants showed strong interest in Al-Farouq’s distinguished experience, which earned first place in the Crown Prince Award for Voluntary Work, praising its institutional excellence and community impact.

They also expressed their appreciation to IFDO for organizing the visit and emphasized the importance of repeating such experiences to explore further models of excellence among its member organizations.
