As part of its preparations to organize its first event in the Syrian capital, Damascus, the Secretary-General of the International Forum of Development Organizations (IFDO) conducted a series of visits to several governmental, civil, and development organizations in Syria. These visits aimed to prepare for a specialized workshop on digital economic empowerment for Syrian youth.

These engagements come within the framework of strengthening cooperation and partnership between the public sector, private sector, and development organizations, contributing to the design of effective interventions that support sustainable development pathways.

The upcoming workshop aims to highlight opportunities for digital economic empowerment for young people and to enhance their skills and access to modern economic tools, enabling them to play a stronger role in development processes.

This initiative aligns with IFDO’s vision to support economic recovery efforts, based on the firm belief that empowering youth is a key pillar in building a more resilient and sustainable economy in Syria.
