Membership Overview

Membership in the International Forum of Development Organizations aims to enhance integration among institutions and experts within the development and humanitarian sector, and to expand the scope of regional and international cooperation.

Membership is granted in accordance with specific criteria and requirements that ensure the highest standards of professionalism, institutional sustainability, and adherence to the Forum’s goals and values, in promoting effective development work and building partnerships that generate positive and sustainable impact within communities.

Organizations Membership

Membership in the International Forum of Development Organizations (IFDO) offers the opportunity to join a professional community dedicated to strengthening collaboration among development practitioners and building partnerships that create sustainable impact.

Eligibility for Membership

Membership Duration

Membership is granted for a period of one year, renewable upon the member’s request and subject to continued compliance with the general eligibility requirements

Access to a regional professional community specialized in development
Immediate listing in the 'Directory of Development Organizations in the Arab and Islamic World,' which includes profiles of members and their projects, and is circulated annually to donors, partners, and major institutions
Members are entitled to one complimentary seat at the Forum’s annual conference, with priority access to limited-capacity events and specialized workshops
Access to free training workshops provided by international experts and leaders in the development field and social investment
Members shall benefit from 20% to 50% on training courses, executive programs, and international events organized by the Forum or its partners
Complimentary subscription to an exclusive members-only newsletter (via email) featuring funding opportunities, invitations for collaborative projects, development sector market analysis, and donor updates
Exclusive virtual sessions for leaders of member organizations (CEO Roundtable) discussing updates on development realities and opportunities
Early access to research, reports, and methodologies developed by the Forum related to development trends and public-private partnership strategies.
Benefit from discounts offered by Forum partners and members for international events and forums

The organization must be legally registered in its country of operation and have been established for at least two years
The organization must have a direct or indirect role in supporting development, whether through projects, corporate social responsibility, or social innovation
The organization must have a good reputation within its sector and must not have been accused of, or listed in, any registers related to corruption, terrorism, or violations of local and international laws

A copy of the organization’s official registration or licensing document (commercial registration, association license, or equivalent).
The most recent annual report or summary of implemented or ongoing projects.
An official website or social media page that demonstrates the organization’s identity and activities.

Complimentary attendance at training workshops conducted by international experts and leaders in development and social investment fields
Members receive an electronic membership card from IFDO, enabling them to present themselves as members of a regional development community and highlight this in their professional profile and networks
Participation in working committees, research groups, and analytical articles published by IFDO, thereby enhancing the member’s intellectual and professional presence in the development field.
