Nazmi Atmeh, Chairman of the Palestinian-Jordanian Business Forum, as part of efforts to strengthen communication channels, explore opportunities for joint cooperation, and introduce the Forum\u2019s role and its regional and international activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the meeting, both parties reviewed the vision and objectives of the International Forum for Development Organizations in supporting institutional work and building partnerships between development organizations and economic institutions. They also discussed potential areas of cooperation, particularly in knowledge exchange and building partnership models that support sustainable development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the meeting, Mr. Maamoun Al-Ashqar extended an official invitation to Eng. Nazmi Atmeh to actively participate in the Third Annual Conference of the International Forum for Development Organizations, scheduled to be held in Istanbul from December 2 to 4, 2024. This year\u2019s conference is titled <em>\u201cInternational Partnerships for Financing Development Interventions,\u201d<\/em> reflecting the challenges and opportunities facing development organizations amid current global economic conditions and highlighting the importance of building effective and sustainable cross-sector partnerships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both parties emphasized the importance of unifying efforts between development organizations and economic institutions, strengthening regional and international cooperation, and exchanging expertise in financing, sustainability, and building strategic alliances that enhance the effectiveness of development interventions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They also highlighted the role of specialized conferences and forums as important platforms for exchanging ideas and projects and building cooperation networks that support initiatives aimed at improving the living conditions of local communities and enhancing their long-term development impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This meeting comes as part of the International Forum for Development Organizations\u2019 efforts to expand its partnership network with economic and development institutions and to build bridges of cooperation that support the advancement and sustainability of joint development work.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jordan \u2013 Amman The Secretary-General of the International Forum for Development Organizations, Mr. Maamoun Al-Ashqar, met with Eng.
